Terms of Use
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms govern your use of swebsy.com, Swebsy Studio, a Swebsy account, and the cloud services — cloud sync, Swebsy Hosting, custom domains, and Swebsy Forms. By accessing or using Swebsy, you agree to them. If you use Swebsy for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
The short version
- Use Swebsy lawfully and take responsibility for the projects and websites you publish. Sites with phishing, malware, or impersonation are removed without notice.
- Studio stays free and local-first, so keep project backups outside the browser.
- A free account can sync projects and publish one site on a swebsy.site subdomain. More sites, custom domains, forms, and version history are paid services, billed through Stripe and cancellable at any time.
- Hosting bandwidth is unmetered for normal website traffic, and subject to fair-use review when it is not.
- You keep your content; Swebsy and third-party materials keep their existing ownership and licenses.
- AI, coding agents, image services, and deployments are optional services with their own terms and costs.
Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. If you are not old enough to do so, you may use Swebsy only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
If you use Swebsy for a company, client, or other organization, “you” includes that organization. You are responsible for anyone who uses Swebsy through your device, credentials, or connected services.
Using Swebsy
Subject to these Terms, Swebsy gives you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the product for personal or commercial website projects, including client work. You may use the interfaces and integrations Swebsy provides, including Studio and the optional coding-agent bridge.
This right does not transfer ownership of Swebsy. You may not sell access to the app, bypass product restrictions, or copy or use Swebsy’s software, catalogs, or branding to create a competing product except where applicable law expressly allows it.
Your content and responsibilities
You keep ownership of the text, images, code, logos, data, and other material you add to a project. You give Swebsy only the limited permission needed to process that material on your device or send it to a service when you request a feature such as AI generation, image search, or deployment.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for everything you add, edit, export, or publish. You are responsible for the final website and for complying with laws and obligations that apply to it, including privacy, cookies, accessibility, copyright, trademark, advertising, consumer protection, and industry-specific rules.
Swebsy does not review or approve your website before export or publication. A successful export or deployment does not mean that the site is accurate, lawful, accessible, secure, or fit for its intended use.
Templates, blocks, and exports
Swebsy and its licensors keep ownership of the app, brand, template and block catalogs, components, documentation, and other Swebsy-provided material. You may use and modify Swebsy-provided templates, blocks, and components as part of websites created with Swebsy, including commercial sites and sites delivered to clients.
You may not resell or redistribute a Swebsy template, block, catalog item, or component collection as a standalone asset or competing library. Third-party fonts, images, code, and services remain subject to their own licenses and terms, which you are responsible for reviewing.
Static exports may include Swebsy runtime code and a “Made with Swebsy” badge according to the project’s Branding settings. Exporting files does not transfer ownership of Swebsy’s software, trademarks, or third-party material, but it does let you host and maintain the exported website.
Local storage and backups
Swebsy Studio is local-first. Projects and uploaded assets are stored in the browser profile and on the device you use. Cloud sync is an account feature you turn on for the projects you choose; until you do, Swebsy holds no copy of your work, and even with sync on, your browser stays the source of truth.
Browser storage can be cleared, corrupted, limited, or removed, and private browsing may not preserve it. You are responsible for exporting project backups and keeping them somewhere safe. Studio autosave is not a substitute for an external backup.
A project backup is an editable JSON file. A code export is a static ZIP intended for hosting and cannot replace the editable project backup. Sensitive values such as AI keys, deployment tokens, and chat history are excluded from project backups and may need to be configured again after import.
AI features and coding agents
Swebsy can connect to an AI provider using your API key or to a coding agent that you pair with the open Studio tab. Those services are optional. Their own terms, privacy policies, usage limits, model rules, and charges apply, and you are responsible for your provider accounts and credentials.
AI and agent output may be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, biased, or unsuitable, and it may resemble material produced for others. Swebsy does not guarantee that output is unique, non-infringing, or eligible for ownership. Review and test every change before you keep, export, or publish it.
You are responsible for prompts, attachments, permissions, agent instructions, generated content, and the actions a paired agent performs in your project. Do not send confidential, personal, regulated, or restricted information unless you are authorized and comfortable sharing it with the selected provider.
Deployments and third-party services
Swebsy can export files or deploy them through services such as GitHub Pages and Cloudflare Pages using accounts and credentials you provide. On that route Swebsy is not your host, and you are responsible for provider fees, permissions, repositories, account settings, DNS, domains, content, and credential security. Swebsy Hosting, described below, is the separate service where Swebsy does serve your site.
Third-party services can change, fail, reject a deployment, suspend an account, remove content, or become unavailable. Swebsy is not responsible for those services or for losses caused by their acts, omissions, policies, or outages.
Accounts
Cloud features need a Swebsy account. Give an address you control, keep your credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for what is done through your account. We may require a verified email address before enabling a trial or a cloud feature.
An account belongs to one person or organization. Swebsy accounts are for the people who build sites; they are not logins for your website's visitors, and Swebsy does not provide accounts or authentication for the sites you publish.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Studio, static export, and deployment to your own provider stay free. A free account with a verified email can also sync projects and publish one site on a swebsy.site subdomain, with the “Made with Swebsy” badge and limited storage. More sites, custom domains, Swebsy Forms, version history, and removing the badge require a paid Starter or Pro plan. Each plan's limits on published sites, stored data, and monthly form submissions are shown on the pricing page and enforced in the product.
Payments are processed by Stripe, and Swebsy never receives or stores your full card details. A subscription renews automatically at the interval you chose, at the price you signed up at, until you cancel. Fees are charged in advance, are stated before any tax we are required to collect, and are not refundable except where the law where you live says otherwise.
Pro offers a 14-day trial that does not ask for a card and runs with reduced limits. You can cancel at any time from billing settings: cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. After a subscription ends we keep cloud access open for a short grace period, currently 30 days and once in any twelve months, so you can export or resubscribe. When it expires your published sites are taken offline and cloud features stop. Projects in your browser are unaffected.
We may change prices or what a plan includes for future billing periods, with reasonable notice before the change reaches you. A change never re-prices or re-caps a subscription you already hold; it applies from your next renewal, and cancelling before then is your remedy.
Swebsy Hosting and fair use
You can publish a project to a swebsy.site subdomain, free for one site, and on a paid plan to more sites or to a custom domain you already own. Subdomains are allocated on request and remain Swebsy's: we may reclaim or change one that is unused, misleading, infringing, or chosen to impersonate someone. A custom domain requires you to control it and to point DNS at us, and certificates are issued and renewed on your behalf by our providers.
Hosting bandwidth is unmetered for normal website traffic. It is not a content-delivery network, a file-download or media-streaming host, a backup target, or a proxy, and it is not for traffic generated by something other than people reading your website. Where your usage is materially out of line with normal website traffic we will contact you and agree a fair arrangement, which may include moving to a different plan. We will throttle, cache, suspend, or unpublish without first agreeing it with you only where the load threatens the service for other customers, or where the usage is abusive.
You are responsible for what a site you publish contains and does. We may unpublish a site, disable a domain, or suspend hosting where the law requires it, where a site breaches these Terms, or where it puts the service or other customers at risk. Where it is practical and lawful, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. Phishing, malware, and impersonation are the exception: we remove a site that carries them without notice, and we may close the account behind it.
We keep a limited number of recent deployments so you can roll a site back, and we work to keep published sites available, but Swebsy Hosting carries no uptime guarantee or service-level agreement.
Swebsy Forms
If you use hosted forms, what your visitors submit is stored in your Swebsy inbox and can be forwarded by email or webhook. You decide what a form asks for. As between you and Swebsy you are responsible for that data: for telling your visitors what you collect and why, for having a lawful basis to collect it, and for answering their requests about it.
Submissions count against your plan's monthly allowance and are kept for a limited period, currently 90 days, or 7 days for submissions classified as spam, after which they are deleted. Export anything you need to keep. Do not use a hosted form to collect payment card numbers, health records, government identifiers, or other sensitive data that needs handling Swebsy does not offer.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete a project, or your whole account, at any time. Deleting your account removes your cloud projects, stored assets, and published sites. A deleted project stays recoverable for a limited window, currently 90 days, before its stored files are permanently removed.
After an account is closed we keep only what we are required to keep, such as billing and tax records and records of abuse, for as long as the relevant law requires. The Privacy Policy describes this in more detail.
Acceptable use
You may not use Swebsy, its public services, or its integrations to:
- Break the law or violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, contractual, or other rights
- Create or distribute malware, phishing pages, spam, fraudulent content, deceptive interfaces, or instructions intended to cause harm
- Harass, exploit, threaten, impersonate, or discriminate against another person
- Access or attempt to access systems, accounts, projects, credentials, or data without authorization
- Probe, overload, disrupt, damage, or bypass security, rate limits, pairing controls, or other safeguards
- Use automated access in a way that interferes with the service or ignores published technical restrictions
- Use Swebsy Hosting as a content-delivery network, a file-download or media-streaming host, a backup target, or a proxy rather than as a website
- Run cryptocurrency mining, botnet control, or other workloads that are not a website on Swebsy's services
- Generate artificial traffic to a published site, or work around plan limits, quotas, or billing
- Misrepresent affiliation with Swebsy or use Swebsy's name, logos, or brand assets without permission
You remain responsible when an AI service, coding agent, script, or other automated tool acts on your instructions.
Service availability and changes
Swebsy may change, improve, pause, or remove features. Some features may be experimental, incomplete, or dependent on browser capabilities and third-party APIs. We do not promise that a feature, integration, template, model, or export format will remain available or backward-compatible.
We may limit access to Swebsy’s hosted or network-delivered services when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a material breach of these Terms.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what information Swebsy handles, what stays in your browser, and what can be sent to optional providers. It forms part of these Terms.
No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swebsy is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent storage, successful exports or deployments, accurate AI output, compatibility with every browser or host, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms limits a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swebsy and its contributors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-related losses. This includes lost projects or data, lost profits, business interruption, publishing problems, security incidents, or losses related to exports, AI or agent output, third-party content, or deployment providers.
These limits apply only to the extent allowed where you live. If applicable law does not permit a particular exclusion or limitation, that exclusion or limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted.
Ending your use
You may stop using Swebsy at any time, cancel a paid plan from billing settings, and delete your account, local projects, preferences, and credentials. Export anything you want to keep first. We may suspend or close an account for a material or repeated breach of these Terms, for unlawful use, or where the law requires it; unless a delay would cause harm or is not permitted, we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to put it right. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your breach, we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
Sections that should reasonably continue after you stop using Swebsy—including ownership, third-party terms, disclaimers, liability limits, and responsibility for published content—remain in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Swebsy, its providers, or applicable requirements change. We will revise the date above and give an additional notice in the site or app when a change is material, and if you have an account we may ask you to accept the revised Terms before you keep using cloud features. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using Swebsy before they take effect.
